Kenneth Helt brings nearly two decades of financial operations experience to the Federally Qualified Health Center.
SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND, SEPTEMBER 16, 2024 — CCI Health Services announced today that they have hired Kenneth Helt to serve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO, Helt will oversee the organization’s financial processes and accounting and discover investment opportunities to expand programs and services.
“Kenneth has the expertise, commitment to the community, and strategic mind we need to transition into the next phase of our expansion plans,” said Dr. Sonya Bruton, CCI’s Chief Executive Officer and President. “He is known for his steady hand, well run systems and ability to establish control amidst chaos; all of which make him, a welcome addition to the team.”
Helt brings nearly two decades of experience in financial operations and a strong track record of success to CCI. He recently served as Controller with Chase Brexton Health Services, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Maryland with an annual budget of $150 million. During his time with Chase Brexton, he oversaw the organization’s accounting, reporting, and financial planning and analysis efforts and developed systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely data.
Helt also previously worked with Connections Education and RSM US, a leading assurance, tax, and consulting provider. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Baltimore.

Helt joins CCI amid a time of organizational growth. On October 16, CCI will debut its new 48,000 sq. ft. Ora Glen health center in Greenbelt, which will serve as the largest community center in Prince George’s County and will offer an array of health services, including on-site pharmaceutical care. The space will also host the organization’s Family Medicine Residency Program.
