Cancer screenings
Women have a 1 in 8 chance of being diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lives, and doctors diagnose nearly 15,000 cases of cervical cancer annually. We provide mammograms and pap smears to screen for cancer at no cost to our patients. Health center staff will also educate you on what you can do to decrease your breast or cervical cancer risks.
Family planning
CCI offers a range of family planning services because you have a right to decide when or if to have children.
Our family planning services include:
• Birth control counseling (including fertility awareness-based methods OR including natural family planning)
• Pregnancy testing & options counseling
• Pregnancy achieving services (preconception health)
• Abstinence education
• Emergency contraception (Plan B)
