CCI Health Services Announces Culinary Fundraiser Featuring Locally and Nationally Recognized Chefs
Sunset Soirée will support community health programs
Silver Spring, MD— CCI Health Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare access for all, is proud to announce its upcoming Sunset Soirée: An Intimate Food Experience for a Cause. The culinary fundraiser will bring together an extraordinary lineup of award-winning and notable chefs, including:
- Ari Augenbaum, Executive Chef and Founder of Soul Taco Restaurant and JewFro
- Edward Reavis, Executive Chef and Owner of All Set, Money Muscle BBQ, and Fryer’s Roadside
- Eric Adjepong, Top Chef Alum, Food Network Host, Author, and Elmina DC Owner and Chef
- Kareem “Mr. Bake” Queeman, Pastry Chef and Owner of Mr. Bake Sweets and 2023 James Beard Foundation Award Semifinalist
Guests will enjoy an evening of delectable cuisine highlighting seasonal ingredients, global flavors, and bold creativity. Each chef will prepare dishes, offering a unique dining experience that blends artistry with advocacy.
“Food has the power to bring people together, tell stories, and drive change,” said Sonya Bruton, CCI President and CEO. “Sunset Soirée guests not only savor extraordinary culinary talent but also help fund critical health programs that serve thousands of community members each year.”
Proceeds from the evening will directly benefit CCI Health Services programs, including primary care services, maternal health programs, and the dental health program. CCI’s programs and services ensure that individuals and families in Maryland receive the care and resources they need, regardless of income or insurance status.
