In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Physical & Mental Health Committee of Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in conjunction with CCI Health Services invites the community to a mental health event called Empowering Our Girls: A Community Toolkit on Mental Health.
The goal of the event is to supply parents and caregivers with the tools and resources to help young women deal with the stressors that impact their mental health.
We will have presentations and panel discussions focusing on Suicide, Bullying, Body Image, Social Media, & Romantic Relationships.
