Empowering Our Girls: A Community Toolkit on Mental Health

Supplying parents and caregivers with tools and resources to help young women deal with the challenges of mental health.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Physical & Mental Health Committee of Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in conjunction with CCI Health Services invites the community to a mental health event called Empowering Our Girls: A Community Toolkit on Mental Health.

The goal of the event is to supply parents and caregivers with the tools and resources to help young women deal with the stressors that impact their mental health.

We will have presentations and panel discussions focusing on Suicide, Bullying, Body Image, Social Media, & Romantic Relationships.

This is your chance to connect with behavioral health specialists and get your questions answered!

This is an 18+ event. This event is free.

    We want to make sure that our services are accessible to everyone, which is why we offer a sliding scale fee discount program (English / Spanish) based on your income and household size.
