SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND, MARCH 14, 2024 — CCI Health Services, one of the largest and leading community health centers serving Montgomery and Prince George’s counties, announced today that its Gaithersburg, Greenway, Silver Spring, and Takoma Park health centers have been recognized as Patient-Centered Medical Homes (PCMHs) by the National Quality Committee Association (NQCA.)

Health locations that receive the PCMH designation have proven a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Recognition from the NQCA represents health care vetted based on industry-leading practices.

“It’s a great honor to receive an acknowledgment from the NQCA, a leading institution sharing our ambition of an exceptional patient experience for everyone,” said Dr. Wilfredo Giordano-Perez, CCI’s Chief Medical Officer. “The philosophy of patient-centered care has been embedded in the CCI approach and culture for decades. We are incredibly proud to offer coordinated and quality care for the more than 37,000 patients who visit us annually.”

Research shows that PMCHs build better relationships between patients and their clinical teams, improve the patient health care experience, and increase staff satisfaction while reducing burnout rates. Moreover, PCMHs positively impact health outcomes and help patients manage chronic conditions more effectively.
