Candid Conversations: Cervical Cancer Prevention

CCI Health Services, in partnership with the Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., invites Montgomery County residents to attend a FREE presentation and workshop on cervical cancer in celebration of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month!

Cervical cancer affects tens of thousands of U.S. Americans annually and can be deadly if not detected early. The good news is that anyone with a cervix can take preventative measures to avoid a cancer diagnosis and maintain their health.

Join CCI’s team of clinicians as they walk attendees through the most effective ways to prevent cervical cancer in a collaborative and nonjudgmental environment.

The event will include:

  • Presentations on cervical cancer prevention, screening, and treatment.
  • A Q & A session on everything cervical health, including Pap smears and the HPV vaccine.
  • Fun activities with prizes to give away.
  • Light refreshments and opportunities for attendees to connect.
