CCI is proud to stand with and serve the LGBTQIA+ community.

We believe that health care should be a safe and empowering experience for everyone regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. We commit to delivering non-judgmental quality care to our thousands of patients and WIC participants. We also strive to create an inclusive work environment that encourages staff members to be themselves.

In 2024, the Human Rights Campaign recognized CCI as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer in their annual Healthcare Equality Index for our ongoing efforts to create policies that promote inclusion and provide training in LGBTQ+ competent care.

Inclusive Patient Forms

Your pronouns matter to you—and they matter to us, too. Comprehensive care means knowing who our patients are and how they see themselves. We offer inclusive patient registration forms to help us recognize your health goals and work with you in meeting them.

LBGTQIA+ Cultural Competence Training

CCI clinicians undergo regular training to ensure we meet our patients’ unique needs with safety and respect. As a result, LGBTQIA+ patients can expect to receive patient-centered care from a team equipped to manage any condition or answer any question.

Reaching Out

CCI runs bus ads advertising PrEP access. We show up at Pride events. We create campaigns that celebrate our LGBTQIA+ neighbors and educate those who have more to learn. Our efforts to reach the community are as important as our efforts to care for it.

CCI partners with several LGBTQIA+ organizations, community leaders, and allies to deliver more resources and reach more neighbors.

    We want to make sure that our services are accessible to everyone, which is why we offer a sliding scale fee discount program (English / Spanish) based on your income and household size.
